1、Maintenance of air filter
The air filter element should be cleaned once after the break-in period (1000 km),
and the number of cleaning should be increased when driving on dusty roads, and the
steps are as follows.
* Take off the air filter housing cover, then take out the filter element
*Put the filter element into the cleaning agent and let it dry
*Spray the dried filter element into 15W/40QE grade oil, rub it well, and then
squeeze out the excess oil.
*Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly
*Replace the paper filter element every 8,000KM (more often when driving on dusty
roads)
2、Maintenance and maintenance of the braking device
A. Adjustment of the drum front brake
*Support the main bracket, measure the free travel of the front brake from the free
position to the start of braking, the free travel of the front brake is 10～20MM
*If not in the specified range, adjust the front brake nut clockwise to reduce the free
travel; adjust the front brake nut counterclockwise to increase the free travel
* Hold the front brake several times, then relax and check if the front brake is
working well (turn the front wheel to see if the front wheel rotation is flexible)
B. Adjustment of the rear brake
*Support the motorcycle with the main bracket
*Measure the stroke of the rear brake pedal from the original position to the start of
the brake operation to be 20-30MM
*If adjustment is needed, the adjustment method is the same as the front brake
3. Battery maintenance
*The electrolyte should be added to the new battery between the upper and lower
scales
* Supplementary charging of the new battery will give better results
*Charge for 6-7 hours with 0.1A current
*Charge for 3~4 hours with 0.3A current
*If the liquid level is lower than the lowest scale, it should be replenished with
distilled water to the specified scale. When the battery loses power or is not used for a
long time, it should be recharged. Note: Hydrogen and oxygen will be generated when
charging, fire and smoke are strictly prohibited at the charging site.
4. Break-in of motorcycle
The break-in mileage of a new motorcycle is 1000KM. It should be broken in according to
the requirements in the instruction manual to prolong its service life by.
◆Control the speed of the vehicle
◆Control the load. The load should be less than 2/3 of the maximum load.
◆Control the driving time, after every 0.5 hours of exercise, the engine should be
turned off and cooled for 10 minutes
Change the oil regularly, it is recommended to change the oil once every 300KM
during the break-in period.
5、Check and adjustment of throttle operation part
A. Inspection and maintenance of the throttle
Turn the throttle handle to check whether the return position is good, if it is stuck or
cannot be returned, it should be maintained
Steps
1、Remove the reflector
2、Remove the fuel filler seat, remove the throttle cable and fuel filler
3、Add a little lubricant to the throttle cable, and apply a little grease to the oiler
4, according to the opposite order to install back Note: The throttle cable should be
cleaned and lubricated once every 1000KM.
B. Throttle handle free travel adjustment
The free travel of the throttle lever is 2-6mm, and should be adjusted if it does not
meet the requirements
Adjustment steps are as follows: loosen the lock nut, turn the throttle adjusting
screw to the specified position, then tighten the lock nut, turn the throttle adjusting
screw clockwise, the throttle free travel becomes smaller; turn the throttle adjusting
screw counterclockwise, the throttle free travel becomes larger.
6、Adjustment of carburetor idle speed
◆Start the engine and warm up for 5~10 minutes
◆Turn the idle speed screw clockwise, the engine idle speed rises, turn the idle speed
screw counterclockwise, the engine idle speed decreases
◆Adjust the idle speed to about 1500R/MIN
Note: The air mixture ratio screw has been adjusted on the special instrument at the
factory, so please don't adjust it easily. If necessary, please ask professional technicians
to adjust.
7、Clutch adjustment
The left handle free travel of the operating clutch is 10～20MM, if it is not in this
range please adjust it, the steps are as follows.
◆Loosen the clutch adjusting lock nut
◆Turn the adjusting screw clockwise to increase the clutch free play and turn the
adjusting screw counterclockwise to reduce the clutch free play.
◆Tighten the clutch adjusting lock nut
Note: Every 1000 KM of driving, the clutch steering line should be removed for
cleaning and lubrication.
8. Inspection, adjustment and lubrication of drive chain
◆Check the method to lift the main bracket, step on the gear pedal to shift into
neutral position, swing the chain up and down, check the swing range should be
10-20MM, if it is not in this range, it should be adjusted.
◆Adjustment method
A、Loosen the rear wheel axle lock nut, loosen the rear brake adjusting nut
B. Loosen the chain adjuster lock nut
C. Rotate the adjusting bolt clockwise to reduce the chain swing. Rotate the
adjusting bolt counterclockwise to increase the chain swing and adjust the chain swing to
the range of 10～20MM.
Note: The scale of the left and right chain adjusters should be the same.
If the chain adjuster scale is in the last frame after adjustment, it means that the
chain drive part is excessively worn out, and the large and small sprockets and chain
should be replaced.
D. Check the tightness of the chain, tighten the adjusting bolt of the chain adjuster
first, and tighten the lock nut of the rear wheel shaft.
If the chain is short of oil, it should be lubricated. Generally, it should be cleaned and
lubricated once every 500KM.
The steps are as follows.
Remove the gearshift arm
Remove the left rear cover of the engine
Remove the rear chain box
Find the movable chain link, remove the movable locking clip with pliers, take off the
chain from the backward direction, put the chain into the cleaning agent and then air dry.
Check the wear of the chain, and replace it if necessary.
Note: The opening direction of the movable link locking clip should be installed
opposite to the direction of chain movement.
◆ Install the chain in the opposite order and fill the chain with appropriate amount of
lubricant.
9、Cleaning of the vehicle
In order to maintain the quality of the vehicle, it should be cleaned regularly and
checked for any damage and oil leakage.
◆ After cleaning, use plenty of clean water to clean the whole vehicle. When cleaning,
electrical switches, instruments, muffler exit
◆ Dry the motorcycle, start the engine and let it warm up for a few minutes
◆Lubricate the drive chain and do a brake test before hitting the road to get it back
to normal
Note: After cleaning, the motorcycle's braking performance is reduced.
10. Storage of the vehicle
Do the following when the vehicle has not been used for a long time, more than 1
month.
Wash and dry the motorcycle, wax the body, and apply lubricant to the parts that
are prone to rust.
Drain the fuel from the carburetor.
Remove the spark plug and put 15-20ML of lubricant into the cylinder.
Remove the battery and put it in a dry, ventilated place away from direct sunlight.
Inflate the tire to the specified air pressure and put it on the cushion.
Cover the motorcycle with fabric or air-permeable objects and park it in a ventilated
place with little temperature difference.
11. Use of the vehicle after storage
Remove the motorcycle cover.
Check the battery voltage. If the voltage is too low, recharge it.
Add fresh fuel.
Check the performance before driving.
